In this blog post, I'll share with you some of the best places to play pickleball in southern Delaware, specifically Lewes and Rehoboth, Bethany, Ocean View, Millville, Fenwick, Milton, Milford, Long Neck, Millsboro, Georgetown, and Dewey Beach. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, you'll find a pickleball community that welcomes you with open arms and friendly competition.

Lewes and Rehoboth

Lewes and Rehoboth are two of the most popular beach towns in Delaware, and they also have some of the best pickleball facilities in the state. You can play pickleball at the Lewes Canalfront Park, which has four dedicated pickleball courts and two tennis courts that can be converted to pickleball. The courts are open to the public from dawn to dusk, and there is no fee to play. You can also join the Lewes Pickleball Club, which organizes regular games and social events for its members.

Rehoboth Beach has two pickleball locations: the Epworth United Methodist Church and the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. The Epworth Church has six indoor pickleball courts that are open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 am to noon. The fee is $5 per person per day. The Rehoboth Beach Country Club has four outdoor pickleball courts that are available to members and their guests. The club also offers pickleball lessons and clinics for beginners and intermediate players.

Bethany, Ocean View, Millville, Fenwick, Milton, Milford

If you're looking for a quieter and more laid-back pickleball experience, you might want to check out these towns in southern Delaware.

Bethany Beach has two pickleball courts at the Town Park on Garfield Parkway. The courts are open to the public from 8 am to 10 pm daily, and there is no fee to play. You can also join the Bethany Beach Pickleball Group on Facebook, which organizes games and socials for local players.

Pickleball in Ocean View, Millville is offered by the Ocean View Community Center, which has four outdoor courts and two indoor courts. You can join the pickleball club, which meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am to 12 pm, or you can drop in anytime during the center's hours of operation. The center also provides equipment rental, lessons, tournaments, and social events for pickleball enthusiasts.

Fenwick Island has one pickleball court at the Fenwick Island Town Park on Coastal Highway. The court is open to the public from 8 am to 10 pm daily, and there is no fee to play. You can also join the Fenwick Island Pickleball Club on Facebook, which connects players of all levels and hosts tournaments and events.

Milton has two pickleball courts at the Milton Memorial Park on Chandler Street. The courts are open to the public from dawn to dusk daily, and there is no fee to play. You can also join the Milton Pickleball Club on Facebook, which organizes games and clinics for its members.

The hall has one indoor pickleball court that is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to noon. The fee is $3 per person per day. You can also join the Slaughter Beach Pickleball Group on Facebook, which welcomes players of all levels and encourages them to have fun.
